I left a career in the tech industry in 2017, following a period of poor mental health. I went on to discover the joy of growing my own food. Being outdoors, connecting with nature and feeding my family gave me purpose.
I feel passionately about sharing this with others. My role is to run the day-to-day operations at Grow Wild York as Lead Grower, working with our partner organisations and volunteers to create a bustling community hub.
Frankie Serino

I am lucky to call Beetle Bank Open Farm my home and I am passionate about socially responsible business. I am proud that we can offer space at our open farm for Grow Wild York to welcome its volunteers and clients. I am experienced in front of house and events management, and I lead on social media and events at Grow Wild.
Sarah Mason
Company Secretary
I am a Chartered Environmentalist and bring to Grow Wild expertise in business strategy, contract and environmental law, and programme and project management. I am an experienced trustee and volunteer within the charity sector, and I am passionate about rewilding land and people! I am the lead at Grow Wild for rewilding, governance, and compliance.
Jack Skinner
Director
I relocated my family from London to York during the pandemic and am privileged to be supporting my new community in such an important and valuable way. I have spent my career in the non-profit asset management industry. I bring to Grow Wild skills in corporate social responsibility, bid writing and project delivery.
